Join the Animated Conversation

Some of you have been asking “where’s my account?”. We’re sorry if there’s been any confusion but the old accounts are no more. As part of our new set-up we’ve moved just a selection of our archive onto a new 4mations YouTube channel, and unfortunately we weren’t able to move the accounts and comments out of the previous setup.

Our new format means 4mations is now primarily a place for discussion. The good news is, you no longer need an account to comment and you can still submit your films for review.

So come on, join in, and tell us what you think of the new 4mations!

  1. Hi

It was quite a shock to see all the accounts are gone … but I suppose you had your reasons.

I’ve submitted my latest short using the submit your stuff button … how does this work from this point? is there a forum where we post links to our animation on youtube etc or do we wait to see if you want to review our films?

    Thanks

  2. Hi Billy,
    Thanks for your comment.
Yes, there have been many changes on the site and we hope this new format will serve the animation community better.
If your submission catches our eye, we will review it and feature it on 4mations. Keep your eye on the site!

  4. We have indeed had to streamline the site due to reduced funding. However, we think the changes have been for the best. A selection of our archive is now on our dedicated Youtube channel, which means a bigger audience and more exposure for our clips. The good news is you no longer need a separate account to submit stuff to 4mations, just send us your links! We’re focusing on bringing you the best of the new and exciting animated content that’s out there on the web, so why not join in with your own submissions?

    • Aside from the circumstances (and this being the first I’ve read of this matter). I can only hope for the best.

Been looking around personally for one short I saw years back I wanted to see again, “Emma 18″, as I really dig the characterization and cleverness of the short. Hopefully the short will pop up again someday.

      • Hmmm, case-sensitive this place is. :-)
