Suicide Kittens

Some of you have been saying “Where is the classic game of strategy, death and trigonometry also know as Suicide kittens?” And come to think of it  “Where is the pirate octopus with his hands full, also know as Booty Juggler?” to which we reply with a resounding  “Huh, oh yeah, sorry dudes.”.

Play Suicide Kittens and Booty Juggler again just like olde thymes.

Some of you have been asking “where’s my account?”. We’re sorry if there’s been any confusion but the old accounts are no more. As part of our new set-up we’ve moved just a selection of our archive onto a new 4mations YouTube channel, and unfortunately we weren’t able to move the accounts and comments out of the previous setup.

Our new format means 4mations is now primarily a place for discussion. The good news is, you no longer need an account to comment and you can still submit your films for review.

So come on, join in, and tell us what you think of the new 4mations!

 4mations giraffe goose

Hello animation lovers. The sun is up, the sky is blue and if you stick your nose out of the window you can smell the fear of a thousand animation students rushing to finish their degree films. You go guys. You can do it!

We have woken from our slumber and like some kind of giant bug-eyed bug popping out of his chrysalis we are new! We have a new format: the blog, new (handsome and multitalented) editors: Andy and Madévi, a new location: Edinburgh, Scotland and a new attitude: Let us Rock! We’ve got “The Eye of the Tiger” playing, and we’re ready for our training montage…

Coming up this month:

Reviews

We review the cream of our archive and your spangly new submitted films.

Annecy International Animated Film Festival

Scottish degree shows

Interviews with our 4mations directors

We’ll be interviewing the directors commissioned on the 4mations Digital shorts scheme. Where they tell us the joys and woes of making a short film.

Big Wigs and Le Grand Fromage

We’ll bring you interviews and blogs from industry insiders: creators, writers, producers,  and more.

All this and some other stuff (as soon as we think it up). Please comment below. Tell us what you think. Tell us what you want to see here. And submit your own films for review.
